    Wonder Gardens

Wonder Gardens began in 1936 as a tropical oasis on Old 41 Road in Bonita Springs, and nearly ninety years later it stands as one of the few remaining cornerstones of Old Florida. What started as a personal planting has become a botanical garden and refuge, a place where rescued and non-releasable birds and reptiles share the landscape with flowering trees, shaded walks, and the sound of moving water. For a wedding, that combination is rare: guests are not simply seated in a room, they are welcomed into a living garden with a history.

Ceremonies unfold among dense tropical foliage, brick pathways, and the gardens' signature glasshouse, a verdigris-green conservatory of domed glass and ornate metalwork that reads like a scene from another century. A wedding party gathered on the herringbone brick in front of it, veil trailing and bouquets raised, needs very little decoration to feel complete. The gardens host weddings, parties, meetings, and galas, and every event is treated as custom, with full details gathered before any estimate is offered.

Because the gardens are both a public attraction and a private event space, couples plan around the site's rhythm: photography sessions are booked in advance, and each celebration is shaped in conversation with the events team. It is a venue that rewards early planning and open communication, and in return gives couples photographs that look like nowhere else in Southwest Florida.

Our cream-white 1960 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II is a natural companion to the gardens' vintage character. We coordinate arrival before the ceremony, portraits with the car parked along a shaded drive beneath the glasshouse, and a chauffeured grand exit as the afternoon light softens, so the day closes with the same warmth it opened with.
